Our telemark clinic will give you the tools to become a new or better telemark skier, and introduce you to other gals with similar skiing interests. The clinic includes all day telemark instruction from certified female instructors and combines it with a morning wake-up of stretching and yoga.  Includes goodie bag and apres prize raffle! No previous telemark experience is required, but some alpine skiing experience is beneficial.

Events
Designed for the beginner backcountry enthusiast interested in gaining information on the equipment and skills integral to safe winter backcountry travel beyond the groomed ski trails. The Intro to the BC course introduces the appropriate gear, how to use it, and awareness for safe backcountry travel techniques. All abilities and disciplines of Alpine Touring, Split Board, and Telemark are welcome. 

Babes weekend getaway to improve your skiing skills for negotiating the steeps.
Don't get left behind because your group wants to ski steep terrain that seems scary and too far out of your comfort level. You can conquer the mountain and feel more confident skiing challenging runs or narrow chutes after a weekend with Babes. Open to Advanced -level Alpine, Tele, & Snowboard Babes (must be able to ski ungroomed black terrain with some comfort).

RENEW yourself this spring with a focus on mind-body & spirit wellness combined with a physical  recreational outing. Join us as we travel into the backcountry for a relaxing weekend focused on doing yoga & centering yourself for the transition from winter to summer. The weekend will get you outdoors and provides time for yoga, reading, relaxing, socializing, sauna, and eating healthy meals. All at a comfortable backcountry hut getaway. *Access will be by hiking (will provide snowshoes if necessary). Food and lodging included
Participating in outdoor activities involves risk of injury or possibly death due to hidden and unforeseen hazards which may result in 
damage to a person or personal property. By attending Backcountry Babes events all participants assume responsibilty of these risks.
Designed for the female telemark, alpine or splitboarding babe interested in learning avalanche safety and backcountry travel skills. The course teaches women a better awareness and knowledge of avalanche safety, how to plan for and travel safely in avalanche terrain, how to use current avalanche rescue techniques, and gives women the empowerment and confidence to be an active part of their backcountry decision-making experience.
