Single Day or Weekend (not >5 days) Clinic Cancellation Policy:
If a class participant wishes to cancel their enrollment in the clinic, a 100% refund minus a $50 processing fee will be offered if notification is made to Backcountry Babes (babesinthebc@gmail.com) by email and acknowledged at least 14 days prior to the course start. The participant will receive a refund of 50% of the course fee minus a $50 processing fee if they notify Backcountry Babes by email 7 days prior to course initiation. No refunds will be offered less than 7 days prior to the event with the following exception: The participant may transfer their enrollment in the course to a new participant if they are able to find their own replacement to fill the position. If a participant decides to personally transfer their reservation, they will be assessed a $50 processing fee and must provide notification of their intentions by email or phone to Backcountry Babes. Backcountry Babes must approve the new participant’s ability to fit the requirements necessary for participation in the course, and all registration forms must be completed by the new participant and submitted to Backcountry Babes at least 2 days prior to the course start. Exchange of the full course fee must be completed between the participants.
Single and Multi-Week Trips Cancellation Policy:
If a course participant wishes to cancel their enrollment in the trip, a 100% refund minus a $100 processing fee will be offered if notification is made to Backcountry Babes (babesinthebc@gmail.com) by email and acknowledged at least 30 days prior to the trip start. The participant will receive a refund of 50% of the trip fee minus a $50 processing fee if they notify Backcountry Babes by email 20 days prior to course initiation. No refunds will be offered less than 10 days prior to the trip.
Full Credit without penalty toward a future event with Backcountry Babes may be considered in exchange for a cancellation. The administration of the exchange and the amount of the credit will be determined by the director of Backcountry Babes based on the participant’s situation and the feasibility of administering the credit toward a future event.
If a program participant leaves a Backcountry Babes event due to an injury or for personal reasons, a refund minus a minimum $50 processing fee may be offered depending on the situation. The administration of a refund and the amount of the refund will be determined by the director of Backcountry Babes based on the situation of the participant’s leaving. The course instructors also reserve the right to dismiss a program participant if the participant is thought to be unfit mentally or physically to participate successfully in the course. In these cases a refund will be offered only if deemed reasonable by the course instructors and the director of Backcountry Babes.
Backcountry Babes reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip prior to a course if sign-up is inadequate to make the trip economically feasible for us to operate. If this happens, we will fully refund the tuition cost including the application fee. If Backcountry Babes cancels a course, we are NOT RESPONSIBLE for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip, (e.g. transportation costs, gear purchases, etc). During the course, Backcountry Babes is not responsible for personal gear damage, breakage, or other unexpected costs over which it has no control.
