Join the professionals from Babes in the Backcountry to learn the basics for playing safely in the snow covered mountains. This course is a must for anyone who enjoys exploring the winter backcountry whether on snow shoes, skis, split board or snow machine. Morning Yoga prepares our bodies and minds for exploring the snow covered mountains. Clinic topics include basic backcountry travel skills, proper avalanche transceiver use/rescue protocol, avalanche avoidance/decision making techniques, basic route finding and uphill skinning/hiking techniques.
Backcountry safety equipment is available through Babes in the Backcountry for use during the clinic. Additional equipment can be rented at a discount through local retailers.
