Avalanche Level 1 Course~ Women’s Specific
If you enjoy skiing/riding and want to take your skills to the next level, this course is for you. Learn how to play safely in the winter backcountry environment, and to avoid being caught in avalanches. As a skills refresher, or for your first formal backcountry course, our 3 day Avy 1 course will teach you the necessary skills to make smart decisions while skiing or riding in the backcountry. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an Avalanche Level I certificate from the American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education. Class is designed for women who snowboard, alpine or telemark with some basic knowledge of backcountry skiing.

- Snow Sense (required)
- Staying alive in Avalanche Terrain (suggested)
