Once your registration has been received, we will send an email confirming that your spot has been reserved with information to help you plan for your course.
Babes in the Backcountry Payment Schedule and Course Cancellation Policy:
Course tuition includes a $50 nonrefundable application fee. Our cancellation/refund policy and transfer policy are based on our investment in staff time, course planning, and purchases before your course.
Cancellation refunds will be given according to the following schedule:
Days prior to course start:
More than 60 days prior to course start: 100% of full tuition minus $50 application fee.
59-21 days prior to course start: 50% of course fee minus $50 application fee.
20-8 days prior to course start: No refunds, however 50% minus the $50 application fee may be transferred to another course.
7 days or fewer prior to course start: No refunds or transfers.
If we cancel a trip: Babes in the Backcountry reserves the right to cancel a trip any time up to 7 days before a course if sign-up is inadequate to make the trip economically feasible for us to operate. If this happens, we will fully refund the tuition cost including the application fee. **If we cancel a course, the Babes in the Backcountry is NOT RESPONSIBLE for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip, e.g. transportation costs, gear, etc.**
