Bike'n Babes

We are excited for your visit to Breckenridge and have complied some helpful hints to prepare for the weekend.

Making your travel plans/preparing for the weekend:
If you are coming from lower elevations (Breckenridge is located at 9600 ft.) or you have had prior challenges with altitude, it is recommeded to spend a night in Denver/Boulder/Colorado Springs area. Come well rested and well hydrated to allow you to acclomatize easier.

Arriving
Plan to arrive in Breckenridge at least an hour before we meet at 5:30 pm (D'vine Wine of Breckenridge). This will give you a little time to settle in and regroup before the weekend.

Departing: We will plan to wrap up by 2:30 pm on Sunday. If you are arranging flights, leave at least 2 1/5  hrs to get to the airport to account for sunday travel.

Lodging:
This summer, we recommend searching on line for the best deals for lodging.
Choose a place in town, close to main street that you don't have to drive or ride your bike up a big hill on the way home.

We have worked with the following properties in the past:  Mention Babes in the Backcountry when reserving lodging through these companies.

Mountain Thunder Lodge
Village of Breckenridge

Bike Rentals:
Call or email either of the these awesome service oriented shops for bike rental discounts.  Make sure you tell them you are a Babe. 2 day rentals: @$30-$50/day depending on the bike.
